There are cases of misuse of the material published by the Free Software Foundation, at least here in Brazil. Although, as far as I know, there's no evidence that they were brought to the consent of the FSF, or (supposing the existence of the worst scenario) brought to court, since those who misused such materials didn't correct their mistake.
There are publications (and even academic papers) here in Brazil that make such misuse. Unfortunately, since I personally try to avoid touching those or reading them until I spot such misuse of content, I can't reference/point to them precisely right now. Overall, these materials started to be published back in 2000, and still continue today.
