Subject: RE: REQ Feedback on diamond wireless combo pack

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I have won an auction for a used combo pack with
ISA and PC-card adapters for $60. It seems that similar packages (both new
and used) are going on ebay for less than $100. Of course, ebay is a much
less reliable service in that someone can try to rip you off. Diamond claims
1Mbs wich is fine because my Adsl is 600Kbs downstream. I just hope that the
150ft range can translate to at least 100ft in real world scenarios. My has
is all wood walls so I should be okay.

Has anyone gotten one of these to work in linux? I probably don't need it
but would like to have the flexibility of using the 'REAL MAN'S OS'. :-)

Thanks.
