Hi Eiren,

You should turn off Active Desktop.  Install Tweakui
from the Tools\Powertoy directory off of the the 98
CD.  After you install it, go to the IE tab and 
uncheck "Active Desktop" if it's checked.  If you 
installed 98 over 95, make sure you defrag the drive
too.
