Subject: Libretto 70CT still won't recognise Tosh 6.4GB HD

Hi List,

I have tried to boot my Libretto from floppy and then insert the new drive and
boot again - without success.

The hard disk drive light is now premanently on and fdisk still reports 'no
fixed drives present'. This is the case in both the libretto and the T2110..

I am starting to suspect the dives are formated to something the tosh BIOS
doesn't recognise. Shall try and see if I can put a DOS FAT partition on it and
try again - hopefully I'll have a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter this afternoon....

I'll report back later.

Thanks for your help and recomendations
If anybody can think of another reason why the drive might not be recognised
please let me know.

Anke
