Haven't found one doing a bit of searching, but certainly again, it's a
simple quick hack in DOS to write a program that'll do it. Linux APM already
has the code you can examine to port over, and as I remember from years ago, I
had wrote a little program under dos that returned the % remaining charge as
reported by the battery, so it will be quite easy to turn off the LCD under
DOS.
