I don't have a Libretto to test, so you will be the guinea pig.

power.exe is harmless and works fine. I wrote this years ago for my L50.
panel.exe is a new program. I'm not certain about the BIOS calls, but it
is written so that it checks the status of the panel power, then toggles
the display on or off.
Naturally, BACKUP YOUR HD before using panel.exe!! just in case anything
goes wrong and all the usual disclaimers about not being responsible for
any damage caused by the use of this program is included.
Let me know what happens.
