I'm not sure how to issue the command as both the LCD and the external monitor
screen is blank when I started `startx'. I however solved the problem by
uncommenting the line `Option "extern_disp"' in my XF86Config file
borrowed from Fran (see previous post). Now X is appearing nicely on my
external monitor but I still need to do some tweaking as at 800 x 480, it
look a bit odd. I need to have different settings as Neil suggested for
the external monitor.
