I have tangled with msgsrv32 for years, since the mid 90's when I had a
Compaq Aero that did it often. In that case it was closing Exchange. Has a
lot to do with the lack of smooth closure of networking.
It is a device that is supposed to provide pop-up messages OVER the highest,
most visible window. Often it leaves the message sandwiched or buried under
windows.
No, I don't have the answer but at least that's a little insight into what
the bugger is.
