Azad,

That's exactly the system I have. There are no hardware modifications 
required to the disc, it defaults to master.

If fdisk (from the floppy) sees the disk then everything about the disk is 
fine, and you should be able to format each partition, mark the first 
partition as bootable, and copy a system onto it.

It sounds as if when you formatted, you didn't use the /s flag to copy 
system tracks across - you have a formatted disc but there's nothing on it. 
Try (from the floppy) format c:/s and see if that helps - or if there are 
any error messages.

Because I hate doing anything the easy way, mine was formatted as 4G for 
windows and then, after copying a linux disc image over the network to the 
c: partition, building a linux on the remainder of the drive.
