Subject: and another one!
Hi again,
I missed this one from the last list =O)
Ive installed all of the various enhancements to the power controls from
toshiba's site, and I now have the option of either going into standby or
hibernation modes.
Which of these is the one which is supposed to save the memory contents to
the hard drive and turn the machine off? they both seem to do the same thing
which is:
Put up a window saying that the machine is going into standby mode, turn off
the screen and the hard drie, but the HD light stays on for a while. Then
the mahine seems to be off, but the LED above the computer icon on the top
of the screen case flashes a dull orange in colour. If I bring it out of
standby, I can move the mouse curosr rouns the screen, but I cannot click on
anything or even do a CRTL ALT DEL to reboot! Im guessing that something
isnt working right there either.
Has anyone had the same sort of poblems?
