Hibernation works for me (most of the time) even when I got my Xircom
Ethernet + Modem in. The Lib hangs upon waking up sometimes and I suspect
it's due to a program called VitalAgentIT which I run in the background.
This is because when this happens and I need to restart, NDD would always
detect an error in one of its (VitalAgentIT's) log file.
I got no problem hibernating or going on standby with other PCMCIA cards
in ... i.e. Adaptec SlimSCSI, Toshiba FDD, Etak GPS or TV tuner card.
