Dear Pres and Everyone,
First of all, thank you for all the information I received. I did think
about getting an extended battery but the maximum 3 hours was still short
for my liking (looking for at least an 8 hrs solution). I believe I got
all the info I needed from the great www.fixup.net site. Besides, its a
rare occasion I could put my Electrical degree to some use.
On a follow up matter, the external battery of Xin does not have any
indication of when the external battery is about to give. Does anyone have
an updated solution to this?
Also, I noticed that when I try to run my internal batteries down, my
computer automatically saves to disk before shutting down. Is there a way
I can make my computer just die without saving? I cannot find the power
management picture in the www.fixup.net site. Maybe I forgot to install
some Toshiba software?
