Ken,

It's very quick and easy to do.  

Just lift up the strip above the keyboard from the right hand side, then
pull up the keyboard (gently).  The RAM module is on the left hand
side.  You need to undo one small philips screw to remove, then reinsert
the module.  Put the keyboard back and put the strip back.

As long as you're gentle with the plastic strip there should be no
problems.

Cheap, easy and may help.
