I still have FreeBSD 3.3R and the appropriate PAO on
a Libretto 50.
I don't have it at hand now, but it shuts down
- itself when the battery is low
- when I press the power off button of the case
- and by software
I had to recompile the kernel, adding one line for
APM (if I remember right over all the time).
