I will have a go at this thanks, but I can't straght away :-)
I did try the 4.1 or maybe the 4.2 and it didn't find my pcmcia LAN card,
so I went back to tha PAO...
I installed 4.1.1-RELEASE (not PAO,

So you had to recompile for APM and the like no?
Would you mind sending me your kernel conf? :-)
