Subject: A PCMCIA funny one..

Hi

I've just brought an Intel combo 56k modem/network card and it works fine in my 110CT
- its a Cardbus Type III card so it uses both cardslots. When I take the card out and
place it in my type III cardstation slot, the modem part of the card reinstalls itself
as a "Intel xxxx modem #2". This modem I have to use when the card is in a
cardstation slot, otherwise I use the "Intel xxxx modem" when its in the Libby.
Strangely enough the network driver works fine when docked and undocked.

The modem driver's are configured to exist in all profiles, and I'm running Win98SE.

Any ideas?

Whilst on the subject of cardstation / docked Libby's, does anyone else have a problem
with the USB on the cardstation? To make the Libby set any device plugged in the
cardstation I have to boot the Libby, unplug and then plug the USB in again. This was
before I brought a Belkin cardbus USB adaptor - this works fine whatever.

Jon
