Subject: Re: 100CT Reset switch
Thanks very much Jason for your help! Much appreciated.
I'm having touble with the reset switch. For the moment I can't do anything
with my 100CT. When I push the start button the computer reads from the HD
and then the screen becomes blank with the cursor flashing. This is where
the computer froze initially and the reason I'm trying to do a reset. If I
press the ON/OFF button again, the computer simply saves this "frozen"
state back to disk and I'm back to square one.
What is the rest button supposed to look like from the inside? I've opened
up the computer and there doesn't appear to be a switch at all. At least
nothing that can be depressed. There is a tiny box there but nothing switch.
Don't know what to do next. I can't boot from a floppy even because the
computer must be set to do a C: then A: boot. I tried removing the battery
but that doesn't make a difference. :(
