You can still order the L50 batteries from Toshiba but they charge an arm and a leg. I found a few (claiming to be new and still in original packaging) listed on eBay for significantly less (dealdealdeal.com seem to list a few there, they also sell them from their website). Note that the Toshiba code for the standard capacity batteries for the L50 is different to that for the L70 even though apparently the packs themselves are identical.
