Hi all! Anyone got any ideas and/or experiences as to how to reduce the running temperature of a 50CT? Recently, as days have warmed up I've found that when I have the libby in the docking station with external power supplied, after an hour or so it'll automatically hibernate itself then turn off and the far right LED (powerplug) would flash orange. Any PC card in the device would come out too hot to touch (although the shutdown happens even when that slot is empty). I'm assuming this is a sign of thermal shutdown? I'm embarking on testing Rain, Waterfall Pro and CPUIdle at the moment ... anyone got any hints/suggestions/pitfalls regarding running these programs on older computers like the Libby50CT? *sigh* perhaps clocking it to 100MHz might not have been that good an idea given the climate here ... hehe - Raymond --- /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\ | | "Does fuzzy logic tickle?" | | ___ | "My HDD has no reverse.
