I've used a Margi DVD-to-Go card with my L110.
It gets really hot, but the playback of the
DVD is exactly the same as it is on my living
room standalone DVD system. Quoting Neil,
if you rest the Libretto on a package of frozen
peas whilst using the DVD card, it will avoid
thermal shutdown -- but you have to get used
to the odd looks from the airport security
folks.

The card costs about $100 on E-bay. It does
require that you have two PCMCIA slots,
however.
