But a bit ungainly with all those wires and the easy-to-damange speaker jack plug to worry about on the go. Really would prefer something that would just stick flush to the back of the LcD or maybe port sound out of the PCMCIA slot loud enough to be heard clearly, but I guess that's all going to require some tinkering. too bad Toshiba never talked to NXT in UK about their flat-panel technology for speaerks. they can turn just about any rigid panel into a speaker, including the glass panel of a LCD screen, and it would be just SO cool to have sound boom out of the screen itself. (in the meantime, these $20 clearence Benwin 1st generation flat-panel speakers running NXT technology aren't too bad belching out the latest tunes - better than the usual cheap $5 desktop speakers, but for sure, nowhere near those THX certified models) ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
