If you use 95 as I am on the libby, make sure you download the IrDA patch from 
Microsoft in addition to the Toshiba driver otherwise you'll be fumbling around for a 
while ... IIRC I also had to download a patch to get IrDA working on my desktop under 
98SE but I can't remember if that was to get the motherboard IrDA working or if it was 
to patch an OS problem ....
