It runs with the std VGA driver, and when I set it to the 65550 driver (either W2k or the C&T one) it goes thru the motions of installing, but the device shows up with the yellow exclamation mark in device manager, and in display properties it still has the VGA (SVGA?) driver as the current display driver. This is the case after rebooting too. The system works fine with the VGA driver, except only in 16 colours. No corruption, no boot failures, nothing. In fact, 2k boots quicker than 98, both clean installs. I was pleaseantly surprised at the speed to be honest, even given the 32mb, it is quite usable (with patience, obviously!). Anyone any ideas?
