After that I usually get the prompt to hit F1 to enter setup. Instead, the system keeps beeping continuously, and the EZBios text appears prompting for CTRL to boot from floppy... and the system goes on it's merry way totally ignoring my steadfast finger on the ESC key. Don't know if this was due to my changing BIOS settings for power management in setup that the Toshiba Power Saver kept resetting to it's configuration. I presume you were setting the Standby and Hibernation values for your L100 in the Toshiba Power Saver, right? I've only gone in there to change the various AC & battery settings for power consumption, and forgot entirely that you set the 'Boot Mode', 'Hibernation Mode', and 'Time before standby mode' in there. I didn't experience any problems at boot getting into BIOS settings when I set these options from Windows.
