I'm quite sure it doesn't just throw an interrupt at an OS ... a fully frozen Portege 3110 managed to hibernate for instance. I'd go for the 'OS knows how to manage FAT12/16/32 and NTFS' idea. Does anyone have a pretty recent Toshiba notebook and want to try hibernating it after booting off a DOS boot disk? - Raymond --- /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\ | | "Does fuzzy logic tickle?" | | ___ | "My HDD has no reverse.
