I head ya. I have loves my 70ct for years. I'm now tired of it and want
something bigger. I have picked up a Panasinic Toughbook CF-25. I'd perfer to
have a ruggedized case over a small size. Besides, let's hear someone here say
that they can drive their car *over* their libretto and have it work perfectly
afterwards. ;)
The biggest thing I've been sick of is the ram. I'm sick of 16mb. No matter
how hard I try, I cannot buy a 16mb upgrade. So, last week I realized that at
the price I'd pay for a 16mb upgrade, I can buy a whole fricking new, and
bigger and better laptop, with 1024x768 TFT screen, 233mhz MMX processor, 16mb
ram (it uses EDO SODIMMS, dirt cheap on ebay, $15 for a 64mb one when last I
checked from a guy doing ducth auctions), and 2gb HD. Plus, it has a built in
cdrom drive.
All this for just the price of ram for my 70ct?!? Screw that! As of August
10th (I may need it for a presentation on stage August 2nd in Las Vegas, then
that'll be it's offical last use), I'll sell off this 70ct, complete package.
New battery, both minmi and full port replicators, ac adapter, a 24x external
cdrom drive, and the buyer's choice: a 56k v.90 pcmcia modem or a 10base-t
ethernet card with coax. Both cards complete with drivers, dongles, cables,
everything. Everything's working perfectly fine, no bad sectors on the HD, no
missing pixels, even comes with a leather carrying case. (looks like a cd case
for cd's and a cd player, but is actually designed for the libretto by Targus)
If anyone's interested in my libretto, and is in the seattle area, I may be
willing to sell it for cash before that deadline. Depends on a lot of factors.
Basically, I'll call you, and you can come down and pay cash, and even try it
before you buy it.

If there are no takers, I know it'll sell for over $300 on ebay, probably as
much as $400. That'll be a better laptop for myself, and a $300 profit. I've
never been so happy to be rid of a libretto in my whole life! =D
