Nope, What counts is you meet the dead line, that requires that you have the device in your hands by 9 13 2002, so that you can included the original serial number label. Also in the US most companies use the date of shipment as your date of purchase. That is when your payment is processed. Looking at Gateways Payments terms, I for one do not care for this: "Gateway may change prices without notice to you before Gateway enters your order and may modify and substitute products and components without notice to you prior to shipping." Way to many loopholes for my taste.
