Did you say that Mozilla requires a bit more CPU umph than these P120 L70s can muster. Also, and I think you got to this below... it >is< a pain in the butt to be constantly right-clicking to block new ads that pop up every day in the same positions on a web page, like online mail. Don't know about Mozilla on your Lib, but WW locks up any access to the page displayed for a few seconds while it's registering the new ad URL to block. More hassle than it's worth with this little Libby. [hint, hint... any good deals on a L100 out there? :-D] >As for the flash ads, you can't right click to get rid of them as >easily, >but what I do is to turn off the plugins when surfing. Poof, no more. (or >get rid of the flash plugin..) I looked through the options for my IE v5.5, but found nowhere to disable Flash. Have I missed something, or are plugins only controllable on Mozilla or maybe Navigator? >Webwasher here would work best - it can block out entire URLs that way. Hmmm... I don't think I've found anything on WWs right-click menu that lets me block Flash URLs. The menu item in that menu for blocking ads with URLs to graphics doesn't appear when I right-click on a Flash ad with WW. All there is, is 'Zoom in', 'Quality - low - medium - high', play, loop, rewind, forward, backwards, print, and "about Marcromedia Flash 5'. >In the end, it's always a pain. Too many advertisements, too little time >to block them all... Sigh, the modern world of spam-killing....
