Hey Raymond... I'm curious about whether or not you figured out the formatting for that SmartMedia card. Did it need to be formatted for FAT12 or FAT16?

From: Raymond <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>If you have a PC card SM reader for the Lib, or a USB version for your PC, and the SM card can be recognized by them, then just right-click the drive in My Computer, and choose 'Format'. I've done this several times successfully now.I'm using an SM to PCMCIA adapter in my libby. I would use my camera to format them except for some bizzare reason, if the card isn't actually formatted at FAT12 FIRST the camera rejects it and will refuse to format it.
*sigh* this is really getting annoying ... I might see if the camera at work can take SM cards and if so if it will format them regardless ...
