Thanks for all you guys' help!!! Eventually, by tracing the corrosion path on the motherboard, I found the point which circuit break! After I cleared the corrosion and repaint the circuit with silver conductive pen (no space for soldering). My libretto able to charge battery again!!!! woo!!! Though I still can't find CMOS battery in local store, my Libretto seems work fine even without CMOS battery (Of course, I can't save BIOS settings and time....) Really thanks a lot! Especially to Barnacle and Raymond!!! :>:> Alan from Hong Kong. --- Fran <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> leG> Date: Sun, 3 Nov 2002 19:54:26 +1300 > From: Fran <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [LIB] My Libretto 50CT cannot charge > up!!! > > On Fri, 01 Nov 2002 07:48, tradelink tradelink > wrote: > > Date: Fri, 1 Nov 2002 02:41:11 +0800 (CST) > > From: =?big5?q?tradelink=20tradelink?= > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Subject: Re: [LIB] My Libretto 50CT cannot charge > up!!! > > > > > That's not a good sign. > > > > Wooo..., but should the charging LED still lid up > even > > if my batteries dead? > > > > > AFIK the adaptor is dual voltage: 100/220. > Please > > > check the lable, although > > > the Asian ones only said 100v > > > > Mine with model no.
