I too tried to put XP on my L100 (with 64 Meg)

finaly sure sence and gave up, went back to Win2K

Win2K runs like a pig on 32MB too. First upgrade to 64MB on your L100. Then,
install Win2k not WinXP. Your processor is too slow for XP (P2-300MHz
minimum) even if you have enough memory. Besides, win2k with the latest
service pack (SP3) is more stable than XP.

Also, make sure your L100 has latest BIOS (8.00 or later) before you install
win2000.

I think XP runs like a pig on anything less than 128MB...

on 32MB try win2K ?
