In a touch of genius, MS doesn't always (ever?) replace the boot sector when 
it installs itself. Try booting from a 98 floppy and then fdisk /mbr

If that doesn't work, well, there's always linux...

btw will be in NYC on monday and Miami wednesday afternoon. Might have a boss 
from work to look after, though... perhaps a bite in town on monday or 
tuesday? Mike H? Anyone else? There's a beer and steak place on 46th and 8th 
(McCabes I think) or no end of places in little brazil on 45th/46th
