And of course there is > no XP to boot into anymore. Pres, In a touch of genius, MS doesn't always (ever?) replace the boot sector when it installs itself. Try booting from a 98 floppy and then fdisk /mbr If that doesn't work, well, there's always linux... btw will be in NYC on monday and Miami wednesday afternoon.
