As already discussed before, the BIOS hibernation takes priority over
Win2000 or WinXP's hibernation. Let say if you let your Lib standby for a
long time that battery running low to a critical level, the BIOS hibernation
procedure will take place no matter what you tell your XP or 2000 to do.
When this happens, your data located after 8GB boundary will be wiped out.
It's better be safe than sorry.

 An added benefit is that THERE IS NO MORE
PROBLEM WITH THE 8 GIG HARD DRIVE LIMIT!  XP sees the whole drive and so
do Norton  Systemworks 2003 and PM8.  XP makes its own 64k file for
suspend, so no more worries about leaving a gap after 8 gig on the
drive, either.  (I've installed a 40 gigger.)
