From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]Hmm... I don't seem to have one. What does it look like, and how does it work?
Use the electromagnetic waver repression core that comes with the Libretto
100 or 110. Not sure if 50 and 70 have it also. It helped my speakers when I
had alot of interference from other units in my room.
I am getting prompt replies from IRock support to my questions:

From: "Support III" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
yes
1. Would it possible to use a cable to extend the IRock adaptor out > from the notebook's sphere of radio noise transmission? If so, what type of cable would be needed. Would the standard shielded audio cable which I have lot's of work well?
Extending the adapter can increase clarity. you could go from quarter inch back to 1/8th inch.
2. When there is a strong broadcast signal on each of the 4 FM frequencies, would it help the car's radio get better reception from the adapter by pulling the car's antenna out of the radio, and inserting an on/off switch and a 2nd antenna wire to the radio?yes
