Has anyone ordered anything successfully from ImpactComputers at http://www.impactcomputers.com/ ??
The only posts in the archives about this were two from John Musielewicz and Nick Lines saying their orders were unsuccessful, and one from Jim Sheafer who ordered a battery and didn't report back on the transaction.
Nick had tried to order a hinge brake for a L100 and a couple
of RAM expansions. John didn't say what he ordered, but said that they were, "out of stock as far as I know plus they don't tell you before you order."
I can confirm that they're a little dicey about telling you what's up. I sent them email asking about the L100 top half of the case. I did get a reply from Yury Vaynriber saying that their part includes the entire top half of the case assembly >with< the lid. All for $44.95.
But when I replied to their email asking if the part was in stock and ready to ship, Yuri wrote back and only said said I could order it online, and said nothing about availability:
