Subject: Re: [LIB] Reading Secure Digital memory cards on 110CT

From: Frans Verhaag <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

To read SD memory cards(from dig. camera) on my 110CT I see two options:

1) get a PCMCIA-SD-card adapter(drawback SDcard must be in adapter
before insertion)
2) get a PCMCIA USB card and a separate USB-SDcard adapter

any advice/experience?

If you get the Extended (Advanced?) Port Relicator for the 110, it has USB 1.1 built in. As for USB vs. PCMCIA, it seems I'm still able to get a bit faster transfers with my PCMCIA adapter for CF cards as opposed to using my USB 1.1 (1.2?) adapter. Though it seems they're pretty close. I'm using a 100 o/ced to 266 at the moment.

I'll do a couple of transfer tests and post ther results later unless someone else posts something more definative before then.

Matt
