I had a guy living in my building who worked as a system administrator. He looked through the doorway to my apartment and saw me using my libretto (70CT at the time) and said "I used to have one of those. I upgraded the ram to 512 meg." So either he was talking baloney, had a L-series or actually upgraded the ram in a US Libretto. Anyway I'm working on it. So far I discovered the memory controller is not integrated into the mmx processor. Dragged out my 100CT to make sure I still had it. Saw I still need to replace the CFL on the LCD. I figure the memory controller should be part of the chipset. Sure would appreciate any advice from anyone out there who has worked with this stuff and can tell me likely things to look for. I'll post as I go along. Heh- I'm bound and determined to at least find out what needs to be done to upgrade that ram past 64 meg!! Wouldn't it be great if it was a matter of just building the upgrade board and soldering a few wires?!?:-) John ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Chien" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Libretto" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, April 06, 2003 10:43 PM Subject: Re: [LIB] Upgrading the memory in the 110CT > Date: Sun, 6 Apr 2003 20:38:17 -0700 (PDT) > From: David Chien <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [LIB] Upgrading the memory in the 110CT > > Well, give it a whirl!
