yes it does. Do your keys have a nice clicky feel to them? sometimes dirt will get underneath and keep them from working. when that happens you get a mushy feel. if you have a source of air or other inert gases used as a spray you can sometimes blow a lot of gunky stuff out. otherwise you gotta pry very gently on the key to lift it off the nipple it sits on then you can clean underneath. have to be careful though not to break the thin little legs the key rests on. when you put the key back on make sure the legs are spread wide then you should be able to press the key back on the nipple. it should snap right in. if it doesn't the key isn't in right and you have to do it again

reseat your connectors.

I think it must be something configurable rather than electro-mechanical as I have noticed the ALT key is on the key marked CTRL ;)

The keyboard is set to 101 key or MS natural - does that sound right?
