For comparison, a Dell 9300 17" 2Ghz Pentium M gaming notebook gets: 3:15 battery life, Sysmark 2004 overall- 141 (business 113, multimedia 175). So, for surfing & word processing, pretty fast vs. a regular notebook; but definitely slow if you're doing MP3 encoding, processing, and rendering. Think 1.2Ghz P-M = about a 1.8-2.2Ghz P4 on most tasks, but slower once you hit floating point intensive operations. Also, the laptop HD is going to slow the Libretto down quite a bit along with the slower RAM vs. a regular notebook. Still, a very nice replacement for my L110 - same battery life, about the same size, but far faster and all the ports built-in (at last!).
