Subject: Re: [LIB] How to install to Lib 110ct with a bare HD?

1. Using boot floppy disk (DOS, Linux, etc), fdisk & format the HD. For most
OSs, make it primary, bootable, active for the partition you want the OS to be
installed into.

2. Transfer OS to the HD any way possible - Ethernet card, serial/parallel
laplinki/dcc compatible cable from a desktop, copied over many floppy disks,
dos cd-rom drivers from a cd-rom drive, etc.

3. run the OS setup program to install the OS, then copy/download the Toshiba
drivers.

Simple as that.

Otherwise, faster method to get an OS to the HD is to fdisk and format the HD,
pull the HD, attach to 2.5" to 3.5" IDE converter ($10 or so), attach to
desktop PC, copy the OS to the HD, reinstall HD into the Libretto, run OS setup
program.

You can also do a floppy disk remote install of Linux if installing that over
ethernet.
