I'm happy to host also a Trac for libssh2. In fact, it was set up at the same time as the git repo. But I have to look into the openid thing so that previous contributors do not have to create _another_ account, I think that's important. For other projects, well, I googled "public trac hosting" and got a few hits; http://www.subversionary.org/hosting/hosting-services http://git.or.cz/gitwiki/GitHosting Some like the look and feel of InDefero, I think it seems a little bit too free form to be efficient, but I haven't given it a fair trial really. http://www.indefero.net/ There's also (for a small monthly fee) http://repositoryhosting.com/ which looks good. Daniel's comment that hosting for projects always works best when a project member actually has some resources still resonates very well with me - but of course it's also a good thing to be able to start a project without resources! In that way, I think SF is a really good thing. If it is enough for you to host a repository, and you don't neccessarily want a tracker, then you have a lot more choice. gitorious and github come to mind. Probably there are similar services also for svn. //Peter _______________________________________________ libssh2-devel http://cool.haxx.se/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/libssh2-devel
