No the goad of libusbx 1.0.x is to replace libusb-1.0. So both
can not co-exist.

Yes. That is true. So you may have to make a choice by then.

On the other hand, libusbx-2.0 may be a different story. Depends on
the situation of libusb-1.0 at that time, things may get changed.
