Been out of the loop for a bit, but this is all about trying to get things set 
up so that the libxml crashing stuff can be investigated, right?

When that particular issue with raising exceptions causing segfaults is fixed, 
I'd love to know about it.  Will try and keep my eyes peeled, but nearly 
impossible for me to watch everything that I care about at the moment without 
them occasionally getting lost.

Looks like things are progressing, however.  Great work to all.
