Hello

thanks for the feedback, you quoted an old sentence, retroshare is a very
advanced chat messenger now, soon v 05 comes out.

http://retroshare.sf.net is a library, so it is ready to use. Just compile
it
A how to compile is found here in the developer wiki:
http://retroshare.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Developers_Corner
RetroShare 0.4 uses XPGP library. RetroShare 0.5 will soon be released and
then
OpenPGP with PGPme library is used.

The Current RetroShare SVN and Compile Scripts are already siwtched to PGPme
flag.
So read the right HOWTO from wiki:
http://retroshare.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/UnixCompile0.5

As you see, retroshare uses a Qt gui too, so you easily can copy paste it
in.

There are even gui clone projects:
http://Retromessenger.sf.net<http://retromessenger.sf.net/>

RetroShare (RS) is the library with elaborated Qt gui
RetroMessenger (RM) is the small gui project for mobile devices and
messenger only.
Using a Qt small gui and as well a WXwidget gui.

Third:

There is http://dooble.sf.net which is adding RetroMessenger/Chat soon.
Currently it is bundled.
If it is possible, to have as well the normal ICQ and Pidgin Protocols as
well under the hood,
dooble might change from Retromessenger to LicQ if that is identically,

I can open up only the idea, maybe someone of the devels sees the potentials
Licq just needs to open with a retroshare login, and then all other
protocols are parallel..
in the gui

Regards
