I'm now running licq 1.2.0, and am contemplating starting using the cvs version again. However, I'm having a rather irritating problem.
Several of the users on my online notify list have switched to using Trillian. While they were using various versions of the official ICQ client, online notify worked mostly right - it'd occasionally trigger the sound effect without an accompanying status change, but very rarely. Since they switched to Trillain, it seems to do it once every thirty seconds or so, which gets irritating really fast. Has this problem been fixed in cvs, or are there any plans to fix it? I seem to recall someone posting a patch a while back, but it doesn't seem to have been incorporated for 1.2.0. If its not been fixed, are there any plans to do so soon? As I use this feature a lot (or used to), I'd be willing to see about making the changes to make it work right if someone would point me in the right direction. The proper way to fix it seems to be to check if status is actually being changed - does this have any problems I'm not seeing? -- Nick Pilon ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: OSDN - Tired of that same old cell phone?
