Please update your automake to at least 1.5 and try again.

Thomas

i f i use automake 1.7 i get , need only 1.5?

[EMAIL PROTECTED] licq]$ automake-1.7
configure.in:9: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.7.9,
configure.in:9: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.in:9: comes from Automake 1.4-p6. You should recreate
configure.in:9: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again.
Makefile.am:5: `intl' should not be in SUBDIRS when AM_GNU_GETTEXT([external]) is used
/usr/share/automake-1.7/am/depend2.am: am__fastdepCC does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
/usr/share/automake-1.7/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
/usr/share/automake-1.7/am/depend2.am: am__fastdepCXX does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL

bye
