You have to clean your sources and run "make -f Makefile.cvs" and afterwards run "./configure" again.

mmm repeat i get this

[EMAIL PROTECTED] licq]$ make -f Makefile.cvs
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution

*** Concatenating configure tests into acinclude.m4
*** Retrieving configure tests needed by configure.in
*** Scanning for include statements
*** Building Makefile templates (step one)
configure.in:9: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.7.9,
configure.in:9: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
configure.in:9: comes from Automake 1.4-p6. You should recreate
configure.in:9: aclocal.m4 with aclocal and run automake again.
/usr/share/automake-1.7/am/depend2.am: am__fastdepCC does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
/usr/share/automake-1.7/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
/usr/share/automake-1.7/am/depend2.am: am__fastdepCXX does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
make[1]: *** [cvs] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

if i recreate aclocal.m4 i obtain other errors

if i delete all sources and checkout of cvs i return at orgin of error

but none get my same problems downloading from cvs?

repeat my automake is 1.7 autoconf 2.5 what miss me?
