No luck. To illustrate the problem, look at the referenced screen-shot. The users have UTF-8, ISO 8859-2, and CP 1250 encodings selected (from left to right, or from top to bottom). Only the one with UTF-8 works. http://rudo.jikos.cz/download/licq-encoding.png I am not quite sure that the approach of the patch is correct. Remember that I (for example) have only the LC_CTYPE variable set, which *is* enough for the system to understand that I am using UTF-8. $ locale LANG= LC_CTYPE=sk_SK.UTF-8 LC_NUMERIC="POSIX" LC_TIME="POSIX" LC_COLLATE="POSIX" LC_MONETARY="POSIX" LC_MESSAGES="POSIX" LC_PAPER="POSIX" LC_NAME="POSIX" LC_ADDRESS="POSIX" LC_TELEPHONE="POSIX" LC_MEASUREMENT="POSIX" LC_IDENTIFICATION="POSIX" LC_ALL= Rudo. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ Licq-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/licq-devel
