Hello Jon, =-=-==-=-= I wanted to ask if it is possible to use GPG through ICQ servers, without establishing a direct TCP connection between two Licq clients.
At first I thought it must work without problems because the encrypted message is a simple text that can be delivered through the ICQ servers. However when I gave it a try then the GPG was used only when my Licq spoke to my chat peer directly. The message was sent unencrypted through the ICQ servers. I wanted to ask you if it is supposed to be so and if yes, why. I must say that it would be for me of a great advantage if the GPG could work over ICQ servers. Most of my time I am behind several NATs and firewalls which pose some problems when establishing a direct connection between me and colleagues that also use LIcq. Anyway, LIcq is a great piece of software and I thank you and all Licq developers very much indeed for their fantastic work. Keep it going' on! :) Regards, Peter
