Hello!
I am trying without success to install licq-1.0.4 Red Hat 7.2. When I
run configure in the qt-gui directory I get:

I can't find the QT libraries. It is recommended to set the QTDIR
environment
variable.

Install the QT libraries, or if you have them installed, override this check
with the --with-qt-libraries argument, and I'll take your word for it.

I tried setting the QTDIR environment variable as well as using the
--with-qt-libraries option as follows:

# export QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1

# ./configure --with-qt-libraries=/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib

but got the same error message as before. I seem to have the qt
libraries on my machine:

# rpm -ql qt-2.3.1-5
/etc/qt.fontguess
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqt-mt.so.2
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqt-mt.so.2.3
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqt-mt.so.2.3.1
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqt.so.2
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqt.so.2.3
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqt.so.2.3.1
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqutil.so.1
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqutil.so.1.0
/usr/lib/qt-2.3.1/lib/libqutil.so.1.0.0
...

I am not very experienced in installing software on Linux and would very
much appreciate any help!

Cheers
